Professional team Speedworks bring two hard hitters to the grid; an Aston Martin Vantage and a Ginetta G50. The team run by husband and wife Christian and Amy Dick, have had success in the past; including winning the Team Championship in the Ginetta G50 Cup, and the British GT 4 Championship.

Speedworks debuted in the British Touring Car Championship in 2011 with former Ginetta driver Tony Hughes behind the wheel of the very first Next Generation Touring Car. In what was a steep learning curve, they gained many plaudits and were rewarded,as the team doubled in size in 2012, when they were joined by 2011 Ginetta GT Supercup Champion Adam Morgan in his debut season in the BTCC. 2013 saw them run two cars for the second successive season with BTCC regulars Dave Newsham and Ollie Jackson at the wheel of the teams Toyota Avensis’.

For the 2014 season the team agreed terms with Ginetta GT Supercup Champion, and BRDC Rising Star; Tom Ingram to race in the BTCC. They will also support the Handy Motorsport team in its inaugural season in the BTCC, with Simon Belcher making his step up from Renault Clios.

Alongside BTCC duties, Speedworks will also be headed back to their roots, running a Ginetta G50 GT4 in the 24hr Endurance series and attending the Dunlop 24hr Race at Silverstone in April.collageBlack
